How an insurance repair works with us
Once you've reported the accident to your insurer and been given a claim reference, bring the vehicle to us (or we'll recover it for you). We photograph the damage, write a detailed estimate and submit it to the insurance company. In most cases their engineer will either agree the estimate or come back with queries — we handle that conversation directly.
As soon as authorisation is in place we order parts, book the job in and keep you posted on progress. The only thing you normally deal with is your policy excess, and even that's usually paid at collection.
Repaired to a proper standard — not a cheapest-possible standard
Because the insurer is paying, some repairers cut corners. We don't. Every insurance repair goes through the same process as a private job — proper parts, proper preparation, colour-matched paint and a final quality check before the car goes back to you.
If something's been missed on the initial estimate — hidden damage behind a panel, for example — we raise a supplement with the insurer rather than skip the work.
